The tax calendar for fiscal year 2018 is issued
Due dates and deadlines for the filing tax returns and the payment of national-level taxes are defined for year 2018
The Ministry of Finance published Decree 1951 of November 28th 2017, which defines the places and deadlines for the filing and payment of tax returns in 2018.
For the filing and payment of income tax, the term to pay the first installment will start on February 8th and end on February 21st 2018, depending on the last digit of the Tax Identification Number- NIT- included in the Certificate of the Unique Tax Registry (RUT), without taking into account the verification digit.
Likewise, the dates were established to declare and pay the wealth tax, by individuals is established. The filing and payment of the first installment will begin on May 9th and end on May 23rd 2018, while the payment of the second installment will begin on September 11th and end on September 24th 2018. The foregoing, in accordance with the last digit of the NIT that appears in the RUT, without taking into account the verification digit.
The Decree also includes the deadlines for the filing and payment of other taxes, such as the new “monotributo” tax for small companies, the national carbon tax, national consumption tax and the information return of foreign assets, among others.
