A BILL HAS BEEN FILED TO PROMOTE AND REGULATE THE MEDICINAL USE OF CANNABIS PRODUCTS
In Peru, a bill was filed before The Congress to promote and regulate the medicinal use of cannabis products.
This bill attempts to guarantee the fundamental right to health allowing the access of cannabis and its derivatives, exclusively for medicinal and therapeutic use.
For this purpose, the bill proposes the registration and granting of licenses for: Research, import, market and manufacture of cannabis products, and approves the protocol of medical treatment for patients with prescription.
Furthermore, this bill establishes penalties and sanctions for those who promote, favor or finance the planting of poppy and marihuana.
The bill is pending to be signed since October 26th.
